Description
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators.
- Oversee cash flow management and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial processes and cost control.
- Assist in year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the retail industry.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Qualified by experience or Newly Qualified.
- Proven experience in management accounting, our client is flexible on the sector background.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvement.
