We are seeking on behalf of our client a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their Accountancy and finance team with tasks such as invoice processing, reconciliations, and assisting with payroll and month-end activities. They are in a period of rapid growth, based in Southampton, offering an exciting opportunity as an Accounts Assistant to join their expanding Accountancy team. They embrace flexible working with a hybrid model, requiring some travel to their modern, well-equipped offices.

Description

As the Accounts Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Invoice and Payment Processing: Manage supplier invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and reconciling supplier statements.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform timely bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Month-End Reporting: Support the finance team with month-end account preparation and reconciliation.
  • Staff Expenses: Process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Audit Support: Assist in audit preparation and provide administrative support as required.
