Executive Sous Chef – Caribbean
Salary: USD$50,000 – $55,000 + Expat Package + Benefits + Work Permit + Relocation
Location: Jamaica
Our client is an award-winning hotel group based in the Caribbean. We are assisting them in their search for an Executive Sous Chef who has international experience and is a pro at managing multiple outlets. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned leader as you will be managing a large kitchen team across the multiple outlets.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the culinary operations ensuring guests are provided with an outstanding experience
* Ensure the food is prepared, plated, and served efficiently and to the highest standards
* Recruit a high performing team. Train staff in proper cooking techniques and adherence to recipes and quality standards
* Establish appropriate staffing levels and conduct daily shift briefings with culinary team members
* Manage inventory, labour and food costs
Executive Sous Chef Requirements:
* Proven experience managing multiple outlets within a resort
* International and Caribbean experience are a big advantage
* Ability to lead others and hold your own in a fast-paced environment
* A well-rounded and creative culinary professional who can support and inspire team members
* Detail orientated professional with excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills. Comfortable talking directly with guests
