Description

Finance Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Daily posting of sales ledger receipts in a timely and highly accurate manner.
  • Posting web transactions to the finance system.
  • Managing proforma accounts ensuring customer balances are reconciled and allocated.
  • Processing of customer refunds.
  • Bank reconciliations for 6 bank accounts across the UK, European & US markets
  • Accurate allocation of receipts and responsible for maintaining low levels of unallocated cash.
  • Set up bank payments.
  • Analysis of debtor reports on a weekly basis for all the UK/Export customers.
  • Preparing monthly DD’s report all the UK/Export customers.
  • Customer Account Creation.
  • Answering general accounting queries via telephone & email.
  • Ad hoc duties as directed by the Head of Credit Management/FD.

Profile

The candidate will have:

  • Experience within a similar role – Required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment – Required
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel – Requried
  • High attention to detail and levels of accuracy – Required
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal – Required
