Description

· Prepare the monthly management accounts, providing commentary to senior leadership

· Prepare, monitor, and review budgets and forecasts across departments.

· Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

· Influence decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.

· Communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance professionals.

· Perform variance analysis to explain deviations from budget/forecast.

· Provide strategic insights to drive business performance and cost efficiency.

· Track and report on KPIs, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

· Develop dashboards and visual reports for performance tracking.

· Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting and data integrity.

· Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and reporting tools.

· Support ERP system enhancements or finance transformation projects.

Profile

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications or equivalent experience in Accounting & Finance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proven experience in management reporting and financial planning processes.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid knowledge of the Energy & Natural Resources sector is desirable.
  • Competence in financial modelling and forecasting tools.
