This role calls for a strategic and forward-thinking Financial Controller who can lead a successful accounting & finance team within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial stability and growth, managing budgets, and establishing financial policies.

Description

The Financial Controller will be responsible for:

  • Leading, developing and motivating the finance team
  • Managing the management accounting systems to provide up-to-date, timely and relevant information to managers
  • Maintaining accounting records in line with statutory requirements and ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Managing the company’s payroll and ensuring employees are paid accurately
  • Authorising statutory returns and payment of tax amounts due ensuring compliance with tax legislation
  • Providing financial reporting to operational managers to enable them to run their departments more effectively

Profile

The successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
  • Circa 5 years PQE or more
  • Relevant experience in similar role in the manufacturing and production or related industry ideal
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary range of £70,000 – £80,000 per annum.
