This is an exciting opportunity to support sites across the Coventry area and leaders across the organisation, helping them drive positive change, develop people-focused strategies, and deliver excellent HR services in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.

Description

As a key strategic partner, you’ll:

  • Provide high-quality HR advice on performance, attendance, employee relations, and learning & development.

  • Work collaboratively with senior leaders to design and implement people plans.

  • Lead on complex casework and ensure best practice in absence management, disciplinary processes, and grievances.

  • Champion workforce planning, recruitment, on-boarding, and talent management initiatives.

  • Drive transformation projects including TUPE, workforce re-modelling, and policy reviews.

  • Analyse and report HR data to inform decisions and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with safer recruitment and safeguarding requirements.

  • Support, coach and line-manage HR Assistants, fostering growth and excellence across the function.

Profile

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or above, with at least 2 year’s experience in a HRBP or HR Manager role.

  • A strong understanding of employment law, HR policy and procedure, ideally within unionised and/or public sector environments.

  • Commercial acumen and the ability to align HR solutions with organisational objectives.

  • Skilled communicator and who can influence build relationships at all levels.

  • Comfortable working across multiple sites and balancing operational and strategic priorities.

  • Experience in leading projects, policy implementation, and using HR systems/data to inform action.

  • Familiarity with safer recruitment practices and working with trade unions.
