Maintenance Engineer

Are you looking for a shift pattern that provides flexibility as well as your weekends and evenings back? Opportunities for overtime and on-call? The chance to take part in continuous improvements, machinery upgrades and automation?

This role would require working two weeks of earlies (7am-4pm) and two weeks of days (10am-6pm) with occasional Saturday morning work. Flexibility around days/hours can be provided and is expected.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance on production equipment and site utilities
  • Electrical, controls and instrumentation fault‑finding across PLCs, sensors, drives, valves and motors
  • Installation, testing and maintenance of automation systems, instrumentation and industrial services
  • Root cause analysis, continuous improvement activity and optimisation of equipment performance
  • Ensuring safe, compliant operation of machinery while maintaining accurate CMMS records

What We’re Looking For

  • A recognized engineering qualification such as City & guilds or NVQ. Time-served engineers are also welcome to apply.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/ production facility as an engineer
  • Flexibility around working hours
