Overview
The Management Accountant will be tasked with ensuring that the management accounts are prepared in an accurate and timely manner. The successful candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a flair for dealing with financial and numerical data.

Description
- Prepare monthly management accounts and report on variances
- Preparation and processing of journals including deferred income, accruals and prepayments
- Assist in month end reporting
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Provide support to the Finance team and liaise with other departments
- Participate in financial projects and initiatives
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Part Qualified Accountant- studying towards qualification
- Experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts- end to end.
- Good knowledge of deferred income, accruals, prepayments, variance analysis and cash flow management.
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers, liaising to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to work as part of a team and on individual tasks
